Have MP3s, Will Travel

I'm finally among the rest of you who have actual technology when it comes to your tunes... I now have an mp3 player, specifically an iPod Nano (8GB of bitchin' Camaro coming at your ears).  So far, things are going well.  Damn thing charged up quickly, I've downloaded and have started to install the iTunes stuff, but I really despise QuickTime so we'll have to see how long this love affair lasts.

I bought the "green" one (box says green, I say green, salesperson insists it's called turquoise. I have no idea, as the blue one is called teal.  Quite idiotic when both of those 'descriptive' colours could be used for either one).

Anyway, as I wrote this QuickTime sent up a few headaches for me, so I'm totally looking forward to what else is going to happen.  Really, should it be this hard?  I just want my tunes, dude.

I'm going to move all of this to my new computer and hope things go better.  After that, I'm going to stuff that thing full of earworms.

I'll be spending the night knitting, maybe crocheting, a Stewart Copeland tube-sock-with-green-stripes cover for it :)  I'll be making up the pattern as I go along so keep your fingers crossed for me!
