I have a mega update! So mega that I am making it into two updates! !!!
Firstly, I just got my first display form:
His name is Björnie, and I love him. Taking pictures of hats and scarves will be so much easier now. This week I am building a mini macro studio so that I can use something other than my window ledge to take shots of my projects. Picture 1 is the Calorimetry I made sometime last year. Picture 2 is my City Girl Cap. Picture 3 is the Toasty Topper that I am about to ramen. (Ramen is my term for ripping or frogging a WIP.)
Second, I took my first trip to Mass Ave Knit Shop and picked up some fun stuff!

To the left is a skein of Mango Moon recycled Sari silk. The colors are so gorgeous! I am using this to make Knitty's Unbiased.
To the right are two skeins of Diakeito dia-Mist Lame in metallic silver. This will be for the robot in Knitted Toys.

While in Indianapolis I did some thrifting, and picked up a bag of acrylic yarn and some scrap fabric:
I'm not sure what will happen to the yarn yet. The fabric is going to become a circular needle holder. There is a pattern for one in the first SNB book.
On to post two ... records!
